Saving This for Later
Capri pants, switch plates and how to wear with performance trainers without looking dorky
Hello, my friends! Today’s newsletter is a little peripatetic, but as I’m serving both hemispheres at once, I hope you will allow for a little seasonal confusion. It’s been a big week in my household as my youngest angel child (turned devil worshipper this summer, but let’s erase that truth) has started school, and for the first time in nearly seven years, I am free. Free to work five days a week, 9-4pm. I am so incredibly excited to find out how this new routine is going to impact both my work and internal compass. Might this be the beginning of a new, calmer chapter? Knowing myself well, probably not, but it can’t be any worse. It does feel like I’ve made it over the top of trench one and while I understand there are lots of trenches in the path to victory, I’m bloody glad I’m heading north not south.
Ok, so what do I have for you today? Firstly, the piece of clothing which generated the most DMs of the summer: my capri pants. We then head over to plug sockets and light switches (you know I save all the sexy stuff for you) and round out proceedings with what to wear with extremely comfortable, yet perhaps not the most elegant trainers. Got a shopping quandary for me? Drop me a line in the most recent chat and I will get on it for you!
